Upper School – Junior, Senior and Adult (Age 8 & up)
STUDIO POLICY
Students are to present themselves in a polite, orderly and well-mannered way. All students MUST wear the required attire unless otherwise instructed. Students are to have their hair pinned up or in a bun for class. All belongings must be labeled and valuables are to be left at home. We are not responsible for any cell phones or gaming systems. Students must NOT leave dance class or the studio grounds without permission of the parent and/or teacher. No visitors allowed in the classes. No food, drink, or chewing gum allowed in the dance rooms. The Lower school mini classes are combos that you take together – they are 2 classes within the timeframe. Any Upper School student taking Hip Hop is required to take either a ballet, contemporary or jazz.
If your child is not signed up for back-to-back classes, it is the parents responsibility to pick them up when there is a break. We cannot be responsible for students not dancing.
FEES
There is a one time registration fee of $50.00. Open House and registration are usually held the last Saturday in August. $5 per week late fee will be assessed if tuition is paid after the 1st of the month. No checks are accepted. We accept cash, credit and debit cards. There is a $3.00 fee to use either a credit or debit card. A $1.00 per minute late fee is charged 10 minutes after your child’s classes are completed. Our program extends from the week after Labor Day, through the second week of June. Students are expected to enroll for the entire program. However, if you do take your child out early, no refunds will be given.

Lower School
Personalized black leotard, suntan tights, suntan canvas ballet slippers, black patent tap shoes with velcro. Hip hop shoes are black and white high top converse (converse-like) sneakers.
Upper School - Intermediates
Personalized black leotard, suntan tights, suntan canvas ballet slippers, black leather tie-up tap shoes, tan canvas jazz boots. Hip Hop uniform is either personalized black crop top or leotard with either black shorts or leggings. Black and white high top converse (converse-like) sneakers.
Upper School - Young Adult/Adults
Personalized black leotard, suntan tights, suntan canvas ballet slippers, tan canvas jazz boots. Hip Hop uniform is either personalized black crop top or leotard with either black shorts or leggings. Black and white high top converse (converse-like) sneakers.
INCLEMENT WEATHER
We follow Prince George’s County Public Schools for ALL day inclement weather closings.
PERFORMANCES
First Class Dance Studio presents its students in concert once a year. Our end of the year Spring Concert is normally the second Saturday in June.
FUNDRAISING
We have two mandatory fund-raisers per dance season. All students must participate or their account will be charged a fundraising fee.
